Keyboard & Mouse Shortcuts

Workspace keyboard shortcuts include:

  • Space Bar - Expands and contracts table rows and picklist items.
  • Enter Key - Puts current table row or Nav Pane item in edit mode.
  • Up Arrow - Moves up one item or to Prev Page if at top of table list.
  • Down Arrow - Moves down item or to Next Page if at bottom of table list.
  • Page Up - Moves up one page (within scroll) or to next page if at top of scroll.
  • Page Down - Moves down one page (within scroll) or to next page if at bottom of scroll.
  • Right Arrow - Indents current item if supported by app and opens Nav Pane parent nodes if children items are present
  • Left Arrow - Outdent current item if supported by app and closes Nav Pane child nodes.
  • Delete - Deletes current item with prompt.
  • "N" key - Creates a new item.
  • "A" key - Creates a new item above the current item if supported by the app.
  • "B" key - Creates a new item below the current item if supported by the app.
  • "C" key - Copies the currently selected item.
  • "X" key - Cuts the currently selected item.
  • "V" key - Pastes item above currently selected item.

When Editing

  • Esc - Cancels edit mode.
  • cmd/ctrl + Enter - Saves current item.

Mouse Clicks

  • Single Click - Brings item into focus.  If item is in focus, in table second single click invokes edit mode.  In tables, single click expands and contracts item in focus.
  • Double Click - In Nav Pane places item into edit mode, if supported.
